Palestinian National Authority Ministry of Education & Higher Education Directorate General of Buildings &Projects In Cooperation with Kingdom of Norway Notice of Invitation to Tender

The Ministry of Education & Higher Education intends to award works contract for the following Tender  with financial assistance from the  (Government of Kingdom of Norway).

1- Eligible Tenderers: Those  who are registered and classified as Contractors by the Palestinian National Classification Committee under 1^st or 2^nd classes in  the field of Building Construction are invited to participate in Tendering of  the above Project.
2-Getting Tender Documents: Tender documents can be got from MEHE Headquarter in Ramallah, during the daily working hours up to 13:30 until Sunday 25/6/2006. (Documents of Qualification to be presented).
3-Tender Documents Price: As stated in the above table, for a non refundable fee.
4-Site visits: will be arranged on the date stated above. Meeting of Contractors will be at the Directorate of Education -Tulkarm at 10:00 morning.
5-Pre-Bid Meeting: will be held on the date stated in the above table at the Directorate General of Buildings & Projects- new building in the MEHE Headquarter in Ramallah at 10:00 morning.
6-Tender Guarantee: amount as stated in the above table, and it will be in the form of a bank guarantee or certified cheqe. The validity of the guarantees shall be (120) days as from the bidding closing date.
7-Tender Submision: The Tenders must be accompanied by the tender guarantee and submitted in a Sealed envelope with the name and tender number  to Procurement Office at the MEHE in Ramallah-Second floor-old building-MEHE Headquarter at Dowar Al Mughtaribin-Al Ma'ahed Street  and dropped in the Tender Box  in Room No. (223)  not later than 12:00 of Monday 10^th  / 7/ 2006.
8-Tender Opening: The Tenders would be opened in a public session to be held in the Ministry of Education and Higher Education at 12:30 of Monday 10 ^th  / 7/ 2006
9-General Conditions :
1-Cost of Advertisement will be paid by the winning tenderer.
2-The Ministry is not bound to accept the lowest offer.
3-Submitting non reasonale prices will be a sufficient base for Tender  exclusion.
4-If a discrepancy found between the Tender Documents and the Advertisement, the information  mentioned in the Advertisement is prevailing.
